We have many regular Life Groups which serve the women in our church! The following groups and Bible studies meet on Tuesdays right here at Parkside.
# 1. THIS GROUP IS BREAKING FOR THE SUMMER, BUT WILL RESUME AGAIN IN THE FALL. This group is doing a study entitled "Modern Girl's Guide to Bible Study" by Jennifer Hatmaker. # 2. This is a women's Bible study entitled "Discerning the Voice of God: How to Recognize When God Speaks" by Priscilla Shirer. This Bible study is designed to help participants know the voice of God: His language, character, and tone of voice. By growing closer to God through His Word, participants will be able to discern God's voice from the voice of strangers." This group meets from 9:00-11:00am each Tuesday. # 3. This is a women's Bible study entitled "The Best Yes: Making Wise Decisions in the Midst of Endless Demands" by Lysa Terkeurst. Having trouble deciding which situations deserve a "yay" and which a "nay?" Are you living with the stress of an overwhelmed schedule and aching with the sadness of an underwhelmed soul? Let Lysa TerKeurst help you discern the option that shapes all your other choices - the best yes! Offering Scripture-laced insights on effective decision-making, she encourages you to be honest, imaginative, focused, trusting, and humble as you discover the role God most wants you to play. We also host and sponsor the Watertown chapter of MOPS International. MOPS is available to both expectant mothers and women with children up through age 5. We are a growing ministry! This group is currently breaking for the summer, but will resume again in the fall and meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each months from 9:15-11:15am.
